Vinted Shoppers Voice Displeasure Regarding Size Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments without notifying every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with other platforms.
They have suggested members to review their products and adjust the sizing manually when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Changes
Previously, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, from Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: earlier, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
